'Fifty Shades of Grey' seems to have taken over the world. I think I may be the one and only person who has not read this book. Literally every single one of my friends has read this book or books. I cannot believe what an impact a fictional read can be on society. Even a hotel has replaced all its rooms' bibles with 'Fifty Shades of Grey'. Yes I am sure those bibles do not usually get read, but is this book that amazing it has to take over a hotels inventory? I have nothing against 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and maybe one day I will read it but right now I look at it as a book full of things, that in real life, would never happen. It just paints another picture of some rich beautiful man who controls a niave young girl. What sets it apart is the unfiltered language and scenarios that we as women aren't used to reading about...
Well E.L. James sure captured the minds of women across the Nation. This book is truly a phenomenon and hopefully one day I can pick it up and I too will be hooked and maybe understand a little more what all the hoopla is about. I am sure my opinion will be different then, as for now I will look forward to when the movie comes to life!

Eat, Pray, Love

What a crazy last few months! I just got back from Europe and OMG what a fantastic ride... We went back to France but this time instead of staying in the city of Paris we stayed just outside the city in Chatou, a quaint beautiful neighborhood. We did a lot of sight seeing and walking tours and revisited some of our favorite places. The we went to Istanbul, Turkiye for a few days and all I can say is this is one of the most unique places I have ever been. The history, architecture, Mosque, food, culture, textiles, bakeries, spice bazarrs, boats... I could go on and on. We had a blast in Turkiye waking up early and going all day until the wee hours of the night trying not to miss a beat. I am so grateful and blessed to have had the opportunity to see such a unique country. I can't even wrap my mind around how old this place is and the museums, palaces, mosque, all built hundreds and hundreds  of years ago... I can say that when our time was up in Europe I was quite saddened to come back to the states. There is so much out there and people always say this is a small world but really.... It's bigger than I can grasp. How can so many people not have a clue about other countries, cultures, religions, languages, taste and so on? I can say I know I will revisit Turkiye again I just know it. Some day some how....

Hello Bloggers,

It's been quite a while since I have posted a blog. I guess life has happened and I haven't taken the time to write too many blogs. A lot has happened in the past few months.. I became the business manager and makeup artist for Smashbox Cosmetics... what a fun ride that was. I learned a lot... I learned the ins and outs of numbers, goals, sales, artistry, direction, ordering, commanding, mingling, regulars, etc... What I learned about myself is that I can take control and step up. This was a rewarding job yet it took it's toll. There was a lot of pressure, I would sleep, eat, and breathe numbers and goals and events and so on. I never had a weekend off and was just completely drained... I ended up leaving this exciting company and am now working for Weight and Body Solutions. Something that is right up my alley... so far so good :) I am looking forward to a fun exciting year coming up... Lots and lots of plans. I'll keep ya posted. Tootles.
Here are some photos from the past few months.. enjoy!

Controlled Chaos

Don't let these faces fool you. I wish I had a camera in my house to show what goes on while I am not there. The lab Dakota is the sneakiest dog of all time. She is never allowed on the coach, the bed, or any furniture. Yet every single day when I leave the house she jumps on the bed and sleeps on it alllll day. Never fail when I come home I go in the room and feel the bed and its warm from her body. There is an inprint of where she sleeps every day. The thing is she knows better, as soon as I say DAKOTA and point to the bed, her head goes down and she hides. Silly dogs.
Now for the little one... Gracey! She is my everything. She is my oldest girl and my blessed jewel. She doesn't do anything wrong. What a complete angel. When she was younger she chewed through a few of my shoes and swimsuits, but nothing major. What I would give to see what these two monsters really do all day.
Dakota: Thanks for keeping the bed warm for me...
Gracey: Thanks for keeping my slippers warm for me....

A little PEP

Hello Blog world!

Do you find yourself looking in the mirror and criticizing yourself constantly? Either you are too short, too big, too small, wish you looked like her or him, not good enough! Well I am telling you now to stop! Stop criticizing yourself. If you do not want others to criticize you then do not do it to yourself. There are so many people who are consumed with trying to live up to a certain image and they forget to live for themselves. When the day comes that you look in the mirror and are proud and satisfied for what you have, you will live a whole different life and have a whole different attitude. If you are over weight or unhappy about something then change it. You only live once and only have one body, so make it the best it can be and be HAPPY!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween. I went to a great Halloween party over the weeekend and had a great time with all my favorite people and some of my best friends! After Halloween, it's back to the healthy diet and no more candy. I'm not sure if my shakeology mixed with all my favorite candy has done me any good? At least I'm getting my vitamins :o)

Hello Everyone!

I am getting ready to start another challenge group. This group will consist of 5 people. ... All working out, STARTING ON THE SAME DAY...THEY WOULD ALL BE REPLACING ONE MEAL A DAY WITH SHAKEOLOGY (& yes, if you do not have Shakeology, that would mean you would have to be willing to invest in it... because if I am going to invest my time in working with you one on one... I need to know that you are willing to invest in your own health first!)
The challenge is the Shakeology HD Challenge.
It is simple- Replace one meal each day with a shakeology, workout 3 times a week to the 2 included shakeology videos and check in daily with me on your progress.

The key is success is consistency, proper nutrition & accountability! This isn’t about being perfect- it’s about learning how to live your best life! If diet/nutrition is something you struggle with, the Team Beachbody Club Membership is PERFECT for you. It customizes a meal plan for you based on your body, workouts and preferences and allows you to print out a grocery list. It’s almost too easy!

If you have not already, you will need to officially sign up to have me as your coach by going to : and click join and register for your free account. You will also order your shakeology HD hrere under shop.

Together the 6 of us would begin our 30 day journey.

This IS a commitment.. ON MY PART and YOURS... Hence why I said that the people selected would NEED TO BE READY to SERIOUSLY change their lives! But I do believe it could be something that will not only make me a better coach for having gone through it... but will leave 5 people COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED at the end!!

If you would like to be considered and are willing to make ALL the commitments abov, then... what are you waiting for??? Write me back,  RIGHT NOW and tell me that you want in this group!!!

This challenge will start Monday November 14th.
I look forward to another great challenge!!
